There is a whole lot more about Ireland than beautiful lush green rolling hills, wonderful accents from the locals, and the beer.  Well, we all know the beer is amazing and Ireland’s finest beer came from Dublin’s own Arthur Guinness. 

Dublin is a great place to hunker down for a great vacation, and you may even spot the world renowned actor, Colin Farrell.  He was born in Dublin, and rose to fame with his knack for acting.

There are a lot of other famous people that have been plucked from Dublin, Ireland.  The truth is, this place should be on any travelers list of places to visit.  Dublin has a long list of public beaches for the tourists.  Rush North Beach is a favorite beach for travelers.  It’s derived from an Irish term the means peninsula of the yew treas.  Rush is a small town and the North beach is a sandy beach that is near 1km in length.  There is a small park nearby and a place for any angler to drop a line to haul in some fish.  There is bus transportation available for you to get to Rush North beach.

Dublin is into gaming, and not the type that’s from a desk, but gaming that includes dice and cards.  Dublin has great casino attractions for adults to participate.  The Colossus Casino Club is the oldest casino in Dublin and is smack dab in the middle of the city of Dublin.  The club is open 24hrs and hosts Brit Brag, Blackjack and Roulette games.  Another fun casino is the Penthouse Casino & Card Club that facilitates all major casino games from Poker to Blackjack across 13 tables of play.  Membership is free and this establishment boasts the best gaming experience in Ireland.

Dublin also has great historical sites with its roots planted back to the days the Vikings were ruling the seas.  The Malahide Castle is a top visitor attraction and everyone can enter the castle that shows off the Talbot Family.  The castle allows visors access to the castle courtyard.  Guided tours of the castle are available for those that wish to learn the rich history of Dublin.  It’s attraction or favored history is the lore of castle ghosts.  It is advertised that the Malahide Castle is ruled by five ghosts.

Other visitor attractions in Dublin city is the old Jameson Distillery.  Visitors get to know John Jameson and the rich history behind the distillery.  Visitors learn the process of the three magic ingredients, yeast, barley and water that has been fine-tuned by the John Jameson & Sons practice of making their own alcoholic beverages.

A fun Irish trait to participate in is the Gaelic Games.  This is a tradition of random games that invite’s friendly completion among athletes.  The games of hurling and football are the most popular for both male and female players.  The Gaelic Games usually hauls in around 50,000 people to take part in the rich cultural activity.  This mass amount of people stems a lot of other activities and vendors to enhance the ultimate Gaelic Games experience.
