If the kids want a break from history altogether you can take them to Gardaland, Italy’s first amusement park. The over 40 rides you can choose from range from high-speed adrenaline rushes to tamer children’s rides, and if you’d rather keep your feet firmly on the ground there are dozens of other shows and activities you can enjoy.
